Welcome to Flashpoint Home Protection, your trusted fire safety consultant providing expert home inspections and solutions for wildland and brush fire threats.
Our Services
Our Remote Wildfire Risk Assessment is a streamlined, remote wildfire risk evaluation conducted by a Flashpoint Home Protection Wildfire Mitigation Specialist (WMS).
This service allows homeowners to receive a professional wildfire risk review without requiring an on-site inspection. Using client-submitted photos along with satellite imagery and GIS mapping tools, we evaluate visible wildfire vulnerabilities and provide practical recommendations tailored to your home.
Because this assessment is completed remotely, it provides a faster and more affordable option for homeowners who want professional insight into their property's wildfire exposure.
Our Initial Wildfire Home Inspection is a comprehensive, on-site evaluation of your home and surrounding property conducted by our Wildfire Mitigation Specialist team member. Following the inspection, you will receive a detailed, photo-documented report, a professional hard copy mailed for your records, and a private 20 - 30 minute consultation call to review findings and mitigation priorities. Our Estate Wildfire Risk Inspection is a comprehensive evaluation designed for large homes (5,000 sqft), multi-structure properties, and large estates (1+ acre) with complex terrain or architectural features.
During the inspection, we assess structural vulnerabilities, ember intrusion pathways, defensible space across extended property zones, and terrain factors that influence wildfire behavior. Drone-assisted imaging is used to document elevated and hard-to-reach areas.
Following the inspection, you will receive a detailed, photo-documented report, a professionally bound hard copy mailed for your records, and a private 30–60 minute consultation call to review findings and mitigation priorities.

About
Our Company
Wildfire is no longer a remote or seasonal threat—it is a year-round reality for homeowners throughout fire-prone regions. Our company was founded with a single mission: to help people protect their homes, families, and investments from the growing risk of wildfire.
We provide professional wildfire mitigation consultations using our professional Wildfire Mitigation Specialists who conduct comprehensive, on-site property inspections and deliver clear, actionable home-hardening recommendations tailored to each home and landscape. Our approach is rooted in science, proven research, and nationally recognized best practices—not guesswork or generic advice.
Science-Based, Not Sales-Driven
Wildfires destroy homes primarily through embers, radiant heat, and direct flame contact—often exploiting small vulnerabilities homeowners don’t realize exist. Our inspections are designed to identify those vulnerabilities before a fire does.
We rely on guidance and research from trusted authorities, including:
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA – Firewise USA®)
CAL FIRE
UL Fire Safety Research Institute
International Wildland-Urban Interface Code (IWUIC)
Our role is strictly consultative. We do not sell construction services, landscaping, or products. This ensures our recommendations are unbiased, homeowner-focused, and based solely on risk reduction.
Our Commitment
Wildfire mitigation is not just about eliminating risk—it’s about meaningfully reducing it. We are committed to honest assessments, clear communication, and recommendations that reflect real fire behavior and current research.
By empowering homeowners with knowledge and practical solutions, we help create safer homes and more resilient communities in the face of an evolving wildfire landscape.
What We Do
During a wildfire mitigation consultation, we evaluate the entire property with an emphasis on how fire behaves in real-world conditions. This includes:
Home construction materials and design features
Roofs, vents, eaves, decks, and attachments
Windows, doors, and exterior wall assemblies
Defensible space and vegetation within critical zones
Ember-exposure pathways and ignition points
After the inspection, clients receive specific, prioritized recommendations they can use to:
Improve their home’s resistance to embers and heat
Plan upgrades over time or all at once
Work more effectively with contractors or insurers
Better understand their property’s wildfire risk
Who We Serve
We work with:
Homeowners in wildfire-prone areas
Real estate buyers and sellers
Insurance-conscious property owners
HOAs and communities seeking risk reduction
Homeowners preparing for Firewise or insurance evaluations
Whether you are proactively hardening your home, responding to insurance requirements, or seeking peace of mind, our goal is the same: to give you clarity, confidence, and a practical path forward.
Our Story
We are professional Southern California firefighters with over a decade of frontline experience, committed to making a meaningful difference in an increasingly complex and rapidly evolving wildfire risk environment.
In the aftermath of the devastating 2025 Southern California Firestorm, our team came together with a shared belief: homeowners need better, clearer guidance to protect their properties before wildfire strikes. That realization led to the creation of our wildfire consultation services—focused on education, prevention, and practical action.
As full-time career firefighters, we have witnessed firsthand the destruction these fires leave behind—families displaced, homes lost, and communities forever changed. We leverage our real-world wildfire response experience, gained across incidents throughout California, and combine it with proven, science-based standards from trusted authorities including NFPA, CAL FIRE, the UL Fire Safety Research Institute, and the International Wildland–Urban Interface Code.
The result is a clear, customized, property-specific plans designed to reduce vulnerabilities and strengthen your home against wildfire—so you can better protect what matters most.
