What’s Included
During your remote assessment, we evaluate:
Home Construction and Exterior Materials
Photos of the roof, vents, eaves, siding, windows, doors, decks, fencing, and structural attachments are reviewed to identify visible features that may contribute to wildfire vulnerability.
Ember Exposure and Ignition Pathways
We examine visible openings, rooflines, vents, structural gaps, and design elements that could allow embers to accumulate or enter the home.
Defensible Space and Vegetation
Photos of landscaping, trees, shrubs, ground cover, mulch, fencing, and combustible materials surrounding the structure are reviewed to identify potential ignition hazards near the home.
Property Layout and Fire Behavior Factors
Satellite imagery and mapping tools are used to evaluate terrain, slope, surrounding vegetation patterns, and environmental factors that may influence wildfire behavior near the property.
Because this assessment relies on client-submitted photos, the accuracy and completeness of the evaluation depend on the quality and visibility of the images provided.
After the Assessment
Once your remote review is complete, you will receive:
A concise wildfire risk assessment report
A photo-based evaluation of visible conditions
Clear wildfire mitigation recommendations tailored to your property
Practical home-hardening guidance based on visible vulnerabilities
Recommendations are informed by nationally recognized wildfire research and principles, including guidance from NFPA, CAL FIRE, and the UL Fire Safety Research Institute.
